Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-03
This Privacy Policy explains how GIFGlobe ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit gifglobe.com, brent.cloud, and partridge.cloud (the "Site"). We are committed to protecting your privacy in line with the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
All GIF and WebP files on this site have been automatically generated by the service through a process involving matching up SRT subtitle files with the video file's timecodes.
1. Who we are
GIFGlobe is operated by Jon Jones, based in the United Kingdom. For any questions about this policy or your data, you can contact us at:

a) Contact form
If you use our contact form, we collect:
- Your name (if provided)

- The content of your message
We use your email address for one purpose only: to reply to your message. We do not store it after your enquiry is resolved, add it to a mailing list, or use it for marketing.

We do not collect any special category data (e.g. health, religion, political views) and the Site is not designed to do so.
3. Legal basis for processing
Under UK/EU GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
| Processing activity | Legal basis |

| Advertising cookies (Google Ads) | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) - only activated if you accept these cookies |
4. Who we share data with
We use the following third-party service providers, who may process data as independent controllers or on our behalf:
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) - website usage analytics
- Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) - advertising, only with consent
- Cloudflare, Inc. - content delivery, DDoS protection, and security
We do not sell personal data to anyone.
International data transfers
Google and Cloudflare may process data outside the UK/EEA, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers are safeguarded through mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US and UK-US Data Privacy Framework. You can find more detail in Google's Privacy Policy and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
5. Cookies
The Site uses cookies for security, analytics, and (with consent) advertising. Full details of each cookie, its purpose, and how to manage your preferences are set out in our separate Cookie Policy.
6. Data retention
- Contact form data: retained only as described in Section 2(a) above.
- Analytics and advertising data: retained according to Google's default retention settings, unless you object or withdraw consent sooner.
- Server/security logs (Cloudflare): retained only as long as necessary for security purposes, per Cloudflare's own retention policies.
7. Your rights
Under UK/EU GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability, where applicable

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@gifglobe.com.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
